Music and the arts hold a place of honor at St. David’s. King David himself was an accomplished psalmist, and we believe that singing, drawing, and making beautiful things with one’s hands are not mere extras but essential elements of a complete education. Students sing daily: hymns, folk songs, and psalms. This trains both the voice and the soul. They learn to draw, to work with their hands, and to appreciate the objective beauty that God has woven into His creation.
